President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump Host Halloween Event at the White House
President Trump and first lady Melania Trump welcomed star athletes, princesses, dinosaurs, and even a Trump impersonator to the annual White House Halloween event on Thursday. Hours after returning from a trip to Asia, the couple spent an hour handing out chocolate bars to trick-or-treaters, including military families, law enforcement families, foster and adoptive families, and children of Trump administration staffers.
“It’s a long line,” Mr. Trump exclaimed to the press, according to a pool reporter, “almost as big as the ballroom.”
The Air Force Band performed spooky tunes and pop hits, including instrumental versions of Michael Jackson’s “Thriller,” Imagine Dragons’ “Radioactive,” and Johnny Cash’s “Ring of Fire.”
